Cheese Platters made from recycled bottles - making use of an object destoined for the bottle bank.
These bottles are washed, labels removed and fired in my kiln for approximately 26 hours.
During the firing process, the glass reaches a point when the glass becomes pliable and slumps into a flat shape, whilst retaining its bottle shape.
Completely food safe. |
